Great practice and very kind staff, but so much more expensive than others.

Such a wonderful place! Everyone is always friendly, efficient, and compassionate. They take such great care of their furry patients as well as their owners. 10/10!

We had a dog groomed that has large cancer wound on her leg. We asked to keep it dry while bathing. We brought a baggie and rubber band. We explained how to wrap her leg. For some reason the groomer ignored our Request. She removed her Bandage and bathed and groomed her. Then did a make shift bandage on her leg. We are upset because she ignored our request instead of talking With us personally.

30 dollars for a nail trim seems rather high in this economy

Lakewood is not my regular vet. I changed to INDEPENDENCE ANIMAL. I only came for a rabies vac & checkup. Had Willow checked as she lost a lb. I asked the cost as Lakewood is expensive. Vet said 35 each shot (2). I left Lakewood with $459 bill when expecting $150. Care ok but this is reason I left. Charges to much & not upfront with cost. Lakewood even higher than my vet or Blue Pearl. Not upfront about charges & I am 81 & on limited income.Lakewood needs to be upfront with charge to be sure it is not causing a hardship.

I understand that emergencies occur and it would be nice when running late to get a call to delay arrival or to reschedule

Appointment was at 8:40 not called back until 9:10. Visit was informative, Dr left room at 9:30, eith culture was told it would be 5 to 10 min. 20 minutes later, i called front desk to find out what was going on?? Vet came back and said they waited for another paitient to run cultures at the same time, why? My scheduled 20 min visit finally ended at 10:15. It was frustrating because I had other scheduled things to do, that were getting pushed back. I hope this was a one time thing, i like thw location and the staff but have only been 3 times for vet visits, usually just boarding which we love. Hopefully, this is a rare occurrence and not the norm.

We have used Amy as the groomer for our fur babies for over 20 years and absolutely love her. The staff has always been wonderful.

Great care for my dog. Very happy

The vet tied the lead so tight around my elderly dogs front leg he was limping the next day. I have never experienced such aggression from staff in the way they chose to handle my animal in my life. My dog is not aggressive I m anyway and I will never recommend this vets office due to the way the vet chose to physically handle my elderly dog so incredibly rough.

We brought in our dog for a grooming appointment with Liz. She did an excellent job as always!

Dr. Golladay was wonderful in addressing all of our questions and also stopping at nothing to find out what was wrong with our little guy. She called to check on us and explained everything really well. I very much appreciate her advocating for our puppy.

The staff and all of the doctors are wonderful. Dr. Eyeler is our primary vet and I absolutely love her. She has gotten us through good times and bad over the past 8+ years. She s always there with a smile or a hug, whichever is needed. I recommend Lakewood to anyone I know that is in need of a vet.

Not sure how to answer the first question with stars, but it’s 5 stars for everything else and I don’t think I was on hold for more than a minute.

The front end/grooming staff were friendly and respectful! I love taking our furry kids there!
